Elizabeth G. Brenner, LICSW, Associate, a key contributor to Waife & Associates, Inc.'s change management practice, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has had over 20 years of experience as a consultant and trainer specializing in using systems theory and organizational development theory to facilitate effective strategic relationships in organizations, and improve communication and teamwork. Her years as a clinical social worker provide her with the ability to develop effective improvement plans with clients (executive coaching) that enhance the inherent strengths of individuals and organizations while removing barriers to peak performance and best practices. She understands the roots of conflict and can assist people in having difficult conversations as well as looking at their contributions to organizational dilemmas.
Ms. Brenner further enhances Waife & Associates' methodological depth in providing change management services for clinical development processes in pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device companies, for issues such as clinical research process improvement, governance, interdepartmental efficiency, and managing the introduction of information technologies.
As a member of the faculty of The Family Institute of Cambridge, Ms. Brenner worked on a multiyear, award-winning organizational change project for the Massachusetts Department of Social Services. Ms. Brenner has taught and presented at numerous professional workshops over the years. She was awarded the Minnie E. Kelley Award from the Simmons Graduate School of Social Work Alumni Association for contributing to the field of child welfare, and she won Clark University's David Potter Prize in Biology.
Ms. Brenner received her Bachelors degree in Biology at Clark University, and her Masters in Social Work from Simmons College.
